What counts as a good LCP, INP and CLS value?

Google publishes clear thresholds for the three Core Web Vitals, and each is measured at the 75th percentile of your real visitors - meaning 3 in 4 of them must hit the bar for you to pass:

  • LCP (load) - good is under 2.5 seconds; 2.5 to 4 seconds needs improvement; over 4 seconds is poor.
  • INP (responsiveness) - good is under 200 milliseconds; 200 to 500 needs improvement; over 500 is poor.
  • CLS (visual stability) - good is under 0.1; 0.1 to 0.25 needs improvement; over 0.25 is poor.
  • “Good” means all three - passing on two and failing one still fails the assessment.

These are Google’s own published bars, visible for your site in PageSpeed Insights. Aim to land all three in the green on mobile - that is the column that matters most.
