Red Bridge Cyber is the product of thirty years of Australian ICT and cybersecurity experience, packaged into a service a small business owner can actually use. No consultants. No sales calls. No 100-page reports. No jargon. A live view in your account, a weekly PDF snapshot, and a list of things to fix — or hand to your developer.
01What it is
Red Bridge Cyber is an Australian continuous scanning service for the public-facing parts of a small business website. We are not a cybersecurity consultancy. We do not write 100-page penetration testing reports. We do not sell a managed security operations centre. We scan five things — Email, Speed, Domain, Visibility, and Security — and we show you, in plain English in your account, what is working and what is not. A weekly PDF snapshot of the live view is available for export, archiving, or sharing with your developer.
While we originally built the service for the owner of a 1–30 staff Australian business — someone whose website was built by someone else years ago, who does not have in-house IT, and who does not know what an SPF record is — the same posture-from-the-outside problem turns up everywhere. Larger businesses, enterprises, and government departments are subscribers too: they have their own internal security teams, but they still need a way to see what their public-facing surface actually looks like to a customer, a search engine, or an AI tool. Either way, every finding either gives you something you can fix yourself, or a clear instruction you can hand to your developer.
02What each scan covers
- Email. Are your business emails arriving? Can people reply? Can anyone send fake emails pretending to be you? Live header analysis from a real test email you send us, layered on top of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX and inbox-placement checks.
- Speed. Is your website loading fast enough? Is page speed quietly hurting your search ranking? Core Web Vitals, image weight, server response, render timing.
- Domain. Do you control your own domain? Is your DNS set up correctly? Domain-expiry timelines, propagation, and the configuration drift that quietly breaks email and trust signals.
- Visibility. Can people find you on Google? Can AI tools cite you? Crawlability, indexing, sitemap, structured data, knowledge-graph presence, and generative-engine optimisation for ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, and Copilot.
- Security. Is your website safe from the outside? Is your SSL certificate trusted? Are you leaking anything you should not? Security headers, certificate chain trust and expiry timelines, common misconfigurations, publicly exposed sensitive paths, and the early indicators a real attacker would look for.
03The operator
Red Bridge Cyber is operated by QANT Pty Ltd (ACN 088 738 943 / ABN 77 088 738 943), an Australian technology company registered in Queensland. QANT has been an Australian-registered entity for more than two decades and builds modern web and AI infrastructure used across multiple brands and customer-facing services.
Your card statement will show a charge from Red Bridge Cyber or QANT Pty Ltd depending on your payment method and region. Customer support, billing, and privacy enquiries are all routed through the QANT operations team — see the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the operating-entity detail.
04The infrastructure
Red Bridge Cyber is not a thin wrapper around third-party scanners. The scan, analysis, live-view rendering, snapshot generation, and customer portal layers run on the QANT Core API— QANT’s in-house platform for content, credits, AI substrate, and customer-facing primitives. The same platform powers multiple QANT brands; Red Bridge Cyber is a vertical built on top of it.
A few practical consequences of running on QANT Core rather than reselling somebody else’s scanner:
- Five scan categories are integrated under one live view — we do not glue together five different vendor scanners and call it a service.
- AI-search visibility (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot) is a first-class check, not an afterthought. The same QANT infrastructure that produces our customer-facing findings is used internally to test how AI search engines see Australian content.
- Data lives in Australia. Customer accounts, scan history, and snapshot archives are stored on Australian-region infrastructure. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling detail.
05The founder
Red Bridge Cyber is founded by Adam Burgess, a Brisbane-based technology consultant with thirty years in Australian ICT. Adam’s career began as a police intelligence officer, runs through theoretical-physics training, and has spent three decades across the full stack of Australian technology — programming, infrastructure, network architecture, cybersecurity, project management, and senior consulting — for clients across Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Middle East.
The kind of work that informs Red Bridge Cyber: multi-million-dollar network overhauls across major Queensland venues, airport infrastructure deployments, government data centre migrations, public-sector ICT-asset separations, and international engagements covering both build-side architecture and post-incident assessment. The combination of deep technical breadth and direct accountability for outcomes (not just slide decks) is what sits behind every Red Bridge Cyber scan and snapshot.
06Adjacent expertise — VMAAS Australia
Adam is also a director of VMAAS Australia Pty Ltd, a separate Australian cybersecurity firm focused on vulnerability management as a service for organisations that need ongoing, vendor-independent governance of their public attack surface. VMAAS and Red Bridge Cyber address different problems — VMAAS sits in the regulated, governance-heavy end of the market; Red Bridge Cyber sits at the small-business end — but the underlying technical bench is shared.
This related-party interest — along with every other commercial relationship we have, and the ones we deliberately don’t — is disclosed in full at Partner & referral disclosures.
07What we cite
Our recommendations sit on top of trusted Australian guidance — rather than vendor marketing — so customers can verify any finding against an authoritative public source:
- The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Small Business Hub for security baselines, incident response, and threat landscape context.
- auDA for
.audomain governance, DNSSEC posture, and the rules that actually govern Australian-domain ownership. - The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) for the Australian Privacy Principles and notifiable-data-breach context.
08Why trust us
We are not asking small business owners to take our word for it. Trust signals are stated up-front and verifiable:
- Established operator. Red Bridge Cyber is operated by QANT Pty Ltd — a long-running Australian-registered company, not a shell or a re-seller — with its own company page on LinkedIn.
- Identifiable founder. The person behind the service is named, has a thirty-year public ICT and security track record, and is a director of an independent Australian cybersecurity firm — VMAAS Australia.
- Australian data residency. Customer records and scan archives are stored on Australian-region infrastructure under Australian law.
- First-Snapshot Guarantee. If your first PDF snapshot turns up no High or Critical findings and your Visibility category scores 60/100 or above, your first billing period is refunded in full. See the Terms of Service for the full conditions.
- Plain-English findings. Every finding explains what we found, why it matters, and what needs to happen next — so you can act on it yourself, or hand it to your developer or IT provider without needing a translator.
